Become a member of the SBM OCIO team in Schwab Technology Services as an IT Program Management Sr. Specialist supporting Learning & Development initiatives within STS University and the New Employee Rotational Development (N.E.R.D.) Program. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence enterprise talent development, onboarding, leadership readiness, and early career experiences while partnering with leaders across STS. The position supports strategic program delivery, learning design, stakeholder engagement, operational execution, and continuous improvement initiatives that help develop and retain top technology talent.

Responsibilities:

• Design learning content using outlines, storyboards, and prototypes. Develop materials for a variety of learning modalities (eLearning, video, classroom, etc.).
• Design and develop learning experiences that apply adult learning theories, meet learning objectives, enhance engagement, and address business needs.
• Follow team quality standards, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and team policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure client interactions are meaningful by applying meeting management strategies, communicating progress, and adapting to individual and group needs.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, decisiveness, and confidence to tailor processes as needed, identify, and minimize risk, solve problems, and adapt to shifting project demands.
• Collaborate effectively within and across teams. Promote team development by participating in team activities. 
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of the N.E.R.D. Program, including cohort onboarding, learning experiences, development activities, and program logistics. 
• Coordinate and manage program communications, schedules, stakeholder meetings, and participant engagement activities. 
• Partner with business leaders, managers, mentors, and subject matter experts to support rotational experiences and development opportunities. 
• Monitor participant progress, feedback, engagement metrics, and program outcomes to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist with the development and facilitation of workshops, networking events, leadership interactions, and professional development experiences for N.E.R.D. participants. 
• Help maintain program documentation, reporting, dashboards, and operational processes. 
• Support special projects and innovations designed to enhance the participant experience, business impact, and program scalability.

Required Qualifications: 

• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency 
• Experience in and passion for learning design and development 
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills 
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills 
• Data collection, analysis, and visualization experience 
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail 
• Experience with eLearning development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Storyline, or similar software 
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines 
• Experience coordinating complex programs, events, or talent development initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tableau and/or Power BI experience 
• SharePoint experience 
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies 
• Experience supporting onboarding, rotational programs, internship programs, or talent development initiatives 
• Change management or program management experience
