As a PMO Specialist Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking one to two small projects or strategic initiatives while supporting broader portfolio objectives. You will work in a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to drive accountability across cross-functional teams.
This role is ideal for a developing project management professional seeking to expand their experience leading technology initiatives while developing expertise in project delivery, agile practices, portfolio governance, and stakeholder management.

What you have


Prior Scrum Master experience or Agile certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
Experience supporting technology, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise platform initiatives.
Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Familiarity with project portfolio management tools such as Clarity PPM.
Experience facilitating cross-functional teams and coordinating activities across multiple organizations.
Understanding of project governance, financial management, resource planning, and change management practices.
Experience creating dashboards, reports, or visualizations using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.

Required:

Applies risk management knowledge independently and collaborates to determine effective mitigation actions
Implements program practices to translate requirements into operational plans
Executing project management activities across the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Developing and maintaining project schedules, milestone plans, RAID logs, status reports, and project documentation.
Building strong relationships with sponsors, technology teams, and stakeholders to drive alignment and timely decision-making.
Proactively identifying risks, issues, dependencies, and obstacles while facilitating resolution and escalation when needed.
Facilitating project meetings, documenting action items, and ensuring accountability for deliverables.
Supporting Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Maintaining project data and reporting within Jira, Clarity, and other PMO-approved systems.
Producing concise and accurate executive-level communications and project status updates.
Managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivery commitments.
Applying analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate project challenges and recommend practical solutions.
