Charles Schwab's Digital Retail Digital Payments and Move Money team builds key experiences for clients and strives to continue to make it easier for clients to get funds where they want. We collaborate across user experience, product, client service, operations and technology teams across the enterprise to build products clients love.
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive cross-team development for a multi-year journey to modernize our Money Movement infrastructure. This role will lead integration into our backend systems and drive requirements across experiences to support Digital development to enhance and align to modern infrastructure changes. You will have responsibility in a Product Manager/Business Analyst capacity to identify, document, and align multiple stakeholders on key elements of the Digital experience. This includes required changes to existing experiences, incremental requirements for the target state client experience, and architectural changes for digital integrations with dependent platforms.
This role would provide an opportunity to join a strong team in terms of Product maturity and team culture, focusing on a critical modernization effort driving key firm and client benefits.
What you are good at:
· Product Management – Experience managing digital products and/or enterprise capabilities in an Agile delivery environment. Experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to understand and support adoption across the immediate Product team.
· Business Analysis – Define, analyze, and deliver solutions to business problems working closely with a cross-functional teams.
· Risk Management – Identify, mitigate, and escalate issues related to delivery (scope and timeline changes) or legal, compliance, and fraud risks.
· Product Development Tools – Experience utilizing multiple different applications in support of the Product and Software development lifecycle including, but not limited to Jira, Confluence, Rally, and GitHub. Utilize AI tools to accelerate and simplify internal processes.
· Cross Functional Stakeholder Management Build partnerships across teams in product, design, technology, operations, compliance, risk, and client facing organizations to foster collaborative problem solving and alignment of digital solutions to solve client problems and address internal efficiency opportunities.
· Versatile Contributor – Ability to manage multiple tasks and take direction from one or more high performing Product Managers, supporting activities across Digital experiences. Deliver on changing needs of the team and drive results across internal processes and project level initiatives.
· Documentation – Advanced experience documenting product requirements and processes for technology and product teams.
· Technical Acumen – ability to understand technical architecture specifically as it relates to digital experience changes and work confidently with architects and development teams.
What you have
· 5 + years Product Management and/or Business Analyst experience with demonstrated ability to develop and implement product requirements supporting strategic programs
· Financial Services industry experience
· Knowledge of Schwab money movement processes and experiences
· A passion for digital innovation and commitment to superb client experience
· Ability to understand complex technical architecture and translate into requirements for Digital experience and backend integration changes
· Strong communication skills, ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story
· Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team within an interactive process and an Agile development methodology
· Effective relationship builder – ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as various personality types
· Strong Process Management discipline with a keen understanding of how to implement process practices.
· Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
· Developed understanding of program management across multiple businesses.
· Bachelor's degree required. Post graduate degree is a plus
