We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead across our Transfers & Pay functions, helping us craft the future money movement at Schwab. We are on a journey to build the future of financial services. We help our clients and advisors plan for and build towards their financial goals and they are passionate about the tools and experiences we provide.

This role will have responsibility for critical, high-volume Transfer & Pay experiences across web and mobile channels. This includes ongoing activities with high performing scrum teams (bug management, clear acceptance criteria and consistent user stories, and identifying and driving closure of dependencies). This Sr. Product Manager will lead Product discovery for assigned products working with Design partners for experience enhancements and develop understanding of complex backend integrations to build high quality experiences that delight our client. The role will require a strong sense of storytelling to frame problems and opportunities to influence strategic roadmaps and alignment across leadership cross functional teams.

What you are good at:

· Asset Transfer & Money Movement – Industry knowledge of the operational and digital money movement space, client needs, processes and the ability to drive cross cutting initiatives to completion.

· Product Planning & Roadmaps – Support the development and execution of the product strategy and roadmap for assigned digital capabilities, facilitating PI planning across teams, maintenance, and stakeholder reviews.

· Product Management – Experience owning and managing digital products and/or enterprise capabilities in an Agile delivery environment.

· Product Discovery – Drive analysis and insights with external and internal resources to understand a problem and develop experiences through research and iterative design to develop solutions to meet and exceed client and internal stakeholder expectations

· Product Development Tools – Experience utilizing multiple different applications in support of the Product and Software development lifecycle including, but not limited to Jira, Confluence, Rally, and GitHub. Expectations to utilize AI to accelerate and simplify internal processes.

· Cross Team Planning & Alignment– Experience leading cross-team product and planning activities that ensure roadmaps are aligned on business objectives and regulatory deliverables. Influencing alignment across partner teams, as needed.

· Team Building – Experience actively contributing to high-performing teams. Serve as a leader within the Digital Payments & Move Money by supporting team members and activities across all existing Product Managers.

· Subject Matter Expertise - An in-depth understanding of Move Money and Payments at Charles Schwab from front to backend, with an ability to apply your knowledge to drive value added client experience impacts for a critical function for our clients.

· Schwab's integrated ecosystem - Advanced knowledge and background of Schwab systems and integrations.

· Cross functional and Stakeholder knowledge - Understanding of experiences across Schwab digital and non-digital functions to understand impacts and value of changes to drive cohesive and collaborative change management across all move money partners and experiences at Schwab.

What you have


· 5 + years strong product management and/or program management experience with demonstrated ability to develop and implement product strategies and deliver high priority initiatives

· Product management experience in financial services

· Expertise in Schwab move money processes and experiences

· A passion for digital innovation and commitment to superb client experience

· Superior communication skills, ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story

· Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team within an interactive process and an Agile development methodology

· Effective relationship builder – ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as various personality types

· Strong Process Management discipline with a keen understanding of how to implement process practices.

· Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

· Highly developed understanding or program management across multiple businesses.

· Bachelor's degree required. Post graduate degree is a plus
