As a Talent Advisor supporting Schwab’s Branch Network, you’ll be a consultative partner to hiring leaders, helping shape thoughtfulrecruiting strategies for roles that directly support our clients and communities. You will combine market insight, relationship building, and skills-based hiring practices to identify talent, guide evidence-based selection decisions, and create a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders throughout the hiring lifecycle.  You will also join a collaborative Talent Acquisition team that values trust, shared success, continuous learning, and the opportunity to grow your impact.

What You’ll Do:

Shape Talent Strategy

  • Build and execute recruiting strategies that connect business priorities, workforce needs, market insight, and measurable hiring outcomes.
  • Lead consultative intake discussions to define role outcomes, required skills, success measures, talent market considerations, and selection priorities.
  • Advise hiring leaders by framing options, sharing practical recommendations, and anticipating immediate and future talent needs.

Build and Engage Talent Pipelines

  • Create and nurture high-quality talent pipelines for current and future Branch Network hiring needs.
  • Use sourcing tools, referrals, outreach strategies, and market research to identify and engage prospective talent.
  • Adjust pipeline and requisition strategies based on market response, changing priorities, and progress toward hiring outcomes.

Evaluate Talent and Guide Selection

  • Apply skills-based hiring practices to evaluate role-relevant capabilities, transferable experience, and demonstrated evidence of success.
  • Partner with hiring teams to create structured interview plans that promote consistency, fairness, inclusion, and alignment to role outcomes.
  • Prepare interview materials, facilitate evidence-based debriefs, and synthesize feedback into concise, evidence-based summaries.
  • Guide stakeholders through talent tradeoffs and help partners reach timely, well-informed hiring decisions.

Create Trusted Experiences

  • Build trusted partnerships across Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and the business through clear communication and reliable follow-through.
  • Provide candidates and hiring partners with a transparent and engaging experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Adapt communication style to the audience and contribute to shared success by sharing best practices, welcoming different perspectives, and supporting collective success

Navigate Change and Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Adapt recruiting strategies as business needs, market conditions, and hiring requirements evolve.
  • Use critical thinking and business judgment to manage competing priorities, resolve barriers, and maintain momentum across multiple searches.
  • Identify practical ways to improve recruiting practices, candidate experience, tools, and workflows while continuing to build business and talent acquisition expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or related roles involving candidate assessment, stakeholder consultation, talent pipelines, workforce planning, or hiring process management.
  • Experience developing and executing recruiting strategies for complex, specialized, or hard-to-fill roles.
  • Ability to apply skills-based hiring practices, including identifying role-relevant capabilities, evaluating evidence, and supporting structured selection decisions.
  • Strong consultative communication skills, including the ability to clarify needs, frame options, influence stakeholders, and deliver clear recommendations.
  • Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to connect business priorities, workforce needs, and market insights to recruiting strategy.
  • Change agility and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Results orientation, including the ability to manage multiple requisitions, maintain momentum, and follow through on commitments.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and common recruiting technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting across multiple functions, business areas, or geographically distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with workforce planning, talent market analysis, employment branding, and Financial Services or Wealth Management recruiting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
