This position is a key supporting role for the Business Process Technology SAvE team to assist in CES digital
transformation, utilizing a solid technical background to provide design, engineering, and support needs. This role
involves conforming with SAVE SRE standards and best practices, collaborating with team members, assisting in the
planning of key deliverables with development and business partners, supporting the Pega platform to meet business
key results, working with outside partners to complete team objectives, and contributing to the program's overall
success
The individual serves as a versatile hands-on technical team member and helps deliver high-quality solutions that
meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment. Also, the individual leverages
good communication skills to collaborate with SAvE, App Dev, vendors personnel
- Assist in administering and maintaining Pega software
- Support BPM concepts from upstream channels to downstream systems
- Help administer and automate builds, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Conduct system health checks around Qualys, currency patching, infrastructure maintenance work, etc.
- Follow and assist in updating Runbooks for guidelines and remediations
- Maintain system alerts and dashboards in Splunk
- Review application and system error codes for proper escalation
- Work with Dev/QA teams around automation, functional, and regression testing using GitHub Actions
- Active participant in Agile standups, story reviews, and PI planning
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of systems and key processes
- Utilize best practices to write scripts to reduce manual tasks
- Provide technical support both in writing and verbally on implementations, process improvement, remediations, issue
- resolutions, etc.
- Engage across various domains to obtain information and gauge dependencies
- Work collaboratively using technical knowledge to provide answers and options for interested parties to make
- decisions

Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in BPM Pega platform
- Working knowledge of Monitoring tools - Splunk, AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, Extra Hop
- Knowledge of CI/CD and support tools including GitHub, GitHub Actions
- Basic knowledge of networking including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers, and IP routing
- Familiarity with one or more databases- Oracle, SQL Server, Mongo DB
- Preferred exposure to scripting languages like Python, PowerShell
- Experience in Enterprise level Infrastructure orchestration with SALT, Kubernetes, IAAS
- Experience in High Availability and distributed systems, Linux administration, troubleshooting, and support
- Exposure to transitioning platforms to the cloud, basic understanding of cloud technologies – GCP, Azure, PCF
- Experience with Atlassian tools Jira, Confluence, and GitHub
- Good debugging skills across a variety of integrated platforms
