Your Opportunity

Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Load Balancing services to design, implement, and support highly available application delivery solutions across the enterprise. This role will serve as a senior technical contributor for F5 load balancing platforms, partnering closely with application, automation, security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to deliver resilient, secure, and supportable services. The engineer will help advance Load Balancing standards, improve operational consistency, support automation and lifecycle initiatives, and ensure solutions meet business, regulatory, and service reliability expectations.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, engineer, implement, and support enterprise Load Balancing solutions across F5 LTM, GTM/DNS, and related application delivery platforms
  • Partner with application teams, architects, security, automation, and infrastructure partners to translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable load balancing designs
  • Lead technical execution for Load Balancing projects, Jira requests, lifecycle upgrades, migrations, decommissioning, and modernization efforts
  • Develop and maintain architectural standards, configuration templates, implementation procedures, validation steps, rollback plans, and operational documentation
  • Review and implement change records with disciplined attention to risk, accuracy, testing, validation, and production stability, including occasional night and weekend implementation windows
  • Troubleshoot complex application delivery issues involving traffic flow, virtual servers, pools, profiles, SSL/TLS, DNS/GSLB, routing, health monitors, persistence, and client/server connectivity
  • Support compliance, audit, configuration management, and control responsibilities related to Load Balancing configurations, standards, access, logging, and change governance
  • Contribute to automation development by defining repeatable engineering patterns, reviewing scripts or playbooks, and partnering with automation teams to reduce manual effort and configuration drift
  • Work with F5 and other vendors to resolve platform issues, evaluate product capabilities, and align vendor deliverables with enterprise technical objectives
  • Serve as a senior technical resource and mentor for peers by sharing knowledge, reviewing designs, and promoting engineering excellence across the Load Balancing service

What you have

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of network engineering experience, including hands-on design, implementation, troubleshooting, and support of enterprise Load Balancing environments
  • Strong experience with F5 technologies, including LTM, GTM/DNS, virtual servers, pools, profiles, monitors, iRules, SSL/TLS, persistence, and high availability concepts
  • Solid understanding of core networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, firewalls, packet flow, and application connectivity troubleshooting
  • Experience working in a highly regulated enterprise environment with disciplined adherence to change management, audit, access control, implementation, and validation practices
  • Working knowledge of automation concepts and tools such as Ansible, GitHub, APIs, scripting, or configuration management platforms
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems, develop practical solutions, document decisions, and communicate impacts clearly to technical partners and leadership
  • Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (“ITIL”), incident management, problem management, and operational support practices
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office products for tracking work, maintaining documentation, and communicating status
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining strong partnership across distributed teams
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, solutions-oriented, and proactive in identifying risk, improving standards, and driving work to completion
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with application teams, peer network teams, vendors, and business partners
