The Business Orchestration & Automated Tooling Center of Excellence at Schwab needs an experienced Business Analyst to join our team! This role partners with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify, analyze, and prioritize opportunities for workflow orchestration and automation. The analyst supports intake, demand management, and solution design by documenting current‑state processes, defining future‑state workflows, and aligning outcomes to measurable business value. They collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and platform teams to ensure solutions meet governance standards and integrate effectively with enterprise tooling. Responsible for multiple vendor/SaaS platforms, this role requires experience managing low-code development platforms as well as business unit/customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to define strategy and scope of platform requirements (decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks)
- Conduct quarterly product increment (PI) planning on behalf of the Platform team responsible for Power Platform, Appian, and UiPath
- Be the primary communicator on behalf of the Center of Excellence when coordinating enterprise-wide migration initiatives and change management
- Coordinate the governance and enablement of new platform features to support the creation of Solutions for multiple low-code platforms
- Design an automated steady-state process of collecting, measuring, and displaying the Return-on-Investment or overall value of CoE activities
- Grow within your role by supporting developers, administrators, and engineers complete their technical tasks (after suitable training and/or certifications are obtained)
What you have
Required Qualifications
▪ 2 years experience working on a technical team in a product owner, project manager, or business analysis role
▪ Succesful implementation of enterprise transformation programs
▪ Hands‑on experience with Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including solutions, managed/unmanaged deployments, and Power Pipelines.
▪ Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft Power Platform environments, including environment strategy, access controls, and platform configuration.
▪ Strong knowledge of Power Platform governance, security, and compliance requirements, including DLP policies, auditing, and enterprise standards
▪ Ability to support and enforce enterprise operational practices such as environment hygiene, monitoring, and platform risk management.
Preferred Qualifications
▪ 4 years experience working on a technical team in a product owner, project manager, or business analysis role
▪ Experience working with Power Platform, UiPath, Appian, and other low-code or robotic process automation (RPA) platforms
▪ Succesful implementation of enterprise transformation programs, migrations projects, and other initiatives that first required establishing business unit trust or cross-organization buy-in
▪ Experience administering Power Platform security, including roles, teams, and access control models.
▪ Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and audit capabilities across Power Platform environments.
▪ Working knowledge of Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps administration at scale.
