We are looking for a Senior IT Program Manager Lead who is passionate about bringing multiple organizations together to achieve key business outcomes for Broker Dealer Modernization (BDM) - a complex, cross-enterprise, multi-year initiative. This role will enable organizations to execute complex initiatives optimally at scale while building organizational capabilities to sustain success in the future. Key Responsibilities​

Strategic Leadership: Develops and drives strategies that improve organizational performance and influences the evolution of practices and operating models. Leads initiatives that align with long-term goals.

Portfolio and Program Leadership: Oversees highly complex programs and portfolios with broad business impact, optimizing execution and management of dependencies, risks, and investments. Establishes methods, frameworks, and approaches used by others. Creates an environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, resilience, and inclusion.

Organizational Influence: Influences direction, prioritization, and investment decisions. Resolves cross-functional issues affecting multiple teams.  Coaches and develops others to create organizational capability. 

Risk and Governance: Establishes approaches for managing business and program risks to protect business outcomes. Ensures effective governance and decision-making practices. Drives consistent execution standards across teams and programs.

Communication and Executive Engagement: Represents programs and portfolios in high-visibility forums. Communicates with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to create transparency and influence decisions. Delivers persuasive recommendations that shape strategy and action, building consensus across organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of IT Program Management experience
  • Direct hands-on experience leading complex, large-scale technology initiatives involving application modernization, business process transformation, and/or data conversion
  • Experience leading other IT program managers or equivalent roles
  • 5+ years experience in the securities brokerage or financial services industry
  • Bachelors degree
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and collaboratively across diverse stakeholders, both technical and business, from peer-level to executive leaders
  • Strong forward and analytical thinking skills and adaptability
  • Adept at audience-appropriate fact-based and persuasive oral and written communications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous hands-on experience working directly in an agile software development team or agile release train
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree focused on technology or business
  • Experience leveraging AI (e.g., M365 CoPilot) to effectively fulfill job responsibilities
