The role will be part of Advisor, Wealth & Asset Management Technology (AWAT) which is part of Schwab Technology Services (STS). AWAT is aligned to support the technology needs of Advisor Services, Schwab Asset Management and Wealth & Advice Solutions across the broader Schwab organization. The Senior Manager, Software Development & Engineering, will be an important member of the Managed Accounts Technology Team that is responsible for developing solutions that support our core Managed Accounts Hub platofrm. The role will report to the Senior Manager Software Development and Engineering.

The individual in this role will design and develop software and business process solutions based on business requirements using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise. He/she will develop web service APIs, supporting applications featuring the full lifecycle of a Managed Accounts Offer. Additionally, they will contribute to building an integration testing framework to drive consistency in software development.

He/she will also be a key player in the implementation and integration of modern applications that support the overall business capabilities and build highly scalable cloud applications that enable future business growth. In addition to being a strong technical contributor, part of the role will involve mentoring developers and collaborating across multiple teams and internal organizations.

Required Qualifications

A university degree or equivalent experience.
Deep domain expertise in Managed Accounts, including strong working knowledge of account maintenance and Managed Account investment products, and the ability to translate business workflows into scalable technology solutions.
VestmarkONE SME-level knowledge, including leading/owning integrations via Vestmark REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience developing enterprise class applications using .NET and C#, particularly distributed and Cloud applications.
Full stack development experience including C#, SQL, HTML5, Angular, JavaScript, JSON,  REST, SOAP, etc.
Experience working in Agile Scrum.
Experience or knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Experience or knowledge of database design and development (SQL and NoSQL).
Ability to design, code, and debug applications in various software languages.
