The Director, Retail Sales Effectiveness is a strategic individual contributor responsible for shaping how retail sales teams engage with Schwab's significant technology investments, including AI capabilities and Salesforce. Acting as the voice of the field, this individual works in close coordination with key partners to define platform strategy, user experience, adoption, and long-term roadmap priorities to ensure technology investments deliver meaningful business and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to influence the strategy and roadmap for AI capabilities and Salesforce transformation.
  • Represent the voice of the field and leaders, translating insights into strategic recommendations, business cases, and prioritization decisions.
  • Own enterprise feedback mechanisms that connect the field, leaders, and product teams to drive continuous improvement and alignment.
  • Influence the design, implementation, and adoption of new capabilities to improve productivity, client experience, and business outcomes.
  • Develop and drive adoption strategies that support sustainable behavior change across the field.

  • A client-centric focus that keeps clients and sales professionals in the forefront of decisions and connects plans and actions to our purpose of serving investors and branch network personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships and working with cross-functional teams to design and deliver field experience initiatives, including evaluating opportunities and making recommendations based on the needs of the business.
  • Strategic thinker with experience leading large-scale business, technology, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong presence with the ability to influence.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with practical execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented and skilled in operating at both strategic and tactical levels with the ability to multi-task and work efficiently to meet deadlines on an independent basis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years in strategy, product management, transformation, consulting, sales effectiveness or client experience roles preferred.
  • Experience with AI and CRM transformation.
  • Demonstrated success influencing initiatives and driving results through partnership rather than direct authority.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
