The Business Strategy team within Schwab’s Client Service & Support organization enables leaders across the service organization to explore and set strategy, prioritize our investments, understand the perspective of our clients, and tell our strategic story along the way. As a Strategy Senior Manager, you will contribute to and lead strategic projects and programs across a range of high-stakes strategic results for the service organization. You will work across the CS&S organization alongside senior leaders and a hardworking team of strategy and industry veterans who are defining the Schwab of the future.
Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership and drive effective decision making, prioritization, and alignment across the organization.
- Break down complex operational and client-facing challenges into structured workstreams and clear hypotheses.
- Conduct root cause analysis, develop solution frameworks, and articulate tradeoffs.
- Partner with leaders across service delivery, operations support, technology, digital, risk, workforce, and transformation teams.
- Build consensus around solution direction through influence, insight, and data.
- Manage strategic initiatives from ideation through execution planning.
- Create project workplans, align timelines, and ensure milestones and communication are met.
- Apply data fluency and insight development to identify and command data into clear business-relevant insights.
- Conduct structured interviews and meetings, analyze service delivery and financial data, and develop compelling recommendations.
- Lead executive level communication and influence cross-functional stakeholders through distillation and synthesis of data to tell a clear and compelling narrative for multiple audiences.
- Develop implementation roadmaps, align cross-functional owners, and transition work to delivery teams effectively.
- Contribute to the broader strategy team by identifying and sharing reusable models, templates, and analytical approaches.

- Experience driving initiatives that cross organizational boundaries.
- Ability to structure complex business problems and validate hypotheses through analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of frontline functions, client experience, or service delivery metrics.
- Exceptional communication and influence skills for multiple audiences.
- Comfort with ambiguity and change in dynamic environments.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a relentless pursuit to follow through from start to execution.
- Strong team-oriented mindset, able to focus on team-goals and contribute to a peer-support team model.
What you have
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience within management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic operations, or internal strategy teams.
- Proven ability to independently lead and deliver strategic initiatives including data-driven problem solving and stakeholder socialization.
- Demonstrated success supporting delivery for concurrent projects.
- Confidence dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Personally and professionally aligned with Schwab's vision and values, and a strong interest in financial services.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
