Senior Manager, AI Impact
Your Opportunity
At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us challenge the status quo and transform the finance industry together.
The Strategy & Innovation organization, led by the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, is responsible for corporate strategy, strategic planning and programs, innovation, and AI across the business. The organization partners with executive leadership and business units to shape Schwab’s direction and drive high-priority, cross-enterprise initiatives.
Within Strategy & Innovation, the AI Strategy, Acceleration and Program team (ASAP) helps shape, organize, and accelerate Schwab’s enterprise AI agenda in close partnership with enterprise, technology, and data teams.
We are seeking a Senior Manager to help build and operationalize a firmwide capability to measure AI costs, benefits, and business outcomes. The role connects data across Finance, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Technology, and Enterprise teams to give leadership a clear view of AI impact. The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise program leadership, strategic judgment, financial planning and analysis, consulting and/or transformation experience, executive communication skills, and the ability to operate across a complex stakeholder environment.
What You Will Do
- Advance and mature Schwab’s firmwide AI impact function, strengthening its operating model and setting priorities in collaboration with business partners and leadership.
- Set the standards that make AI measurement consistent, including cost and benefit definitions, baselines, methodologies, and evidence requirements that hold from pilot through scaled adoption.
- Work with AI product owners and enterprise teams to communicate measurement objectives and set baselines and success measures early, then translate project results into firmwide outcomes across Growth, Scale & Efficiency, Brilliant Basics, and People.
- Partner with Finance and Enterprise Data & Analytics on the underlying data, strengthening cost attribution, validating reported spend and benefits, developing purpose-built metrics where existing measures fall short, and setting the ownership and refresh cadence that make reporting repeatable.
- Deliver the AI impact dashboard, scorecards, and briefings for the Executive Council, Board of Directors, and Corporate Strategy, separating realized results from projected value and surfacing insights, assumptions, limitations, and data gaps.
- Inform AI portfolio prioritization and resource allocation processes by driving alignment.
- Support the Strategic Programs team with other responsibilities and deliverables as necessary.
Please note: this position is Monday - Friday during standard business hours with a hybrid work model (4 days in office, 1 day working from home). It is only available in the locations listed. Candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate on their own to the listed locations.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
