As Director of Transformation and Modernization for Custody and Asset Services, you will shape and execute the strategy to modernize critical operations supporting a multi-trillion-dollar platform. This role leads complex, cross-functional initiatives that simplify processes, strengthen controls, improve the client and employee experience, and enable scalable growth. You will translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps, drive disciplined execution, and build alignment across operations, technology, product, risk, and key partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a multi-year transformation and modernization strategy aligned with business priorities, growth objectives, and enterprise capabilities.
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning operations, technology, product, risk, finance, and third-party partners from business case through implementation and benefits realization.
- Build and maintain an integrated transformation roadmap, establishing clear priorities, milestones, dependencies, governance, and executive-level reporting.
- Redesign processes and operating models to reduce complexity, eliminate manual work, strengthen controls, and improve scalability, resiliency, and client outcomes.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and partner with technology teams to evaluate, prioritize, and deliver modern tools, platforms, automation, and data capabilities.
- Establish success measures and use data to track progress, quantify business value, identify risks, and hold workstreams accountable for sustainable outcomes.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and change leader, influencing senior stakeholders, resolving cross-functional barriers, and driving timely decisions across organizational boundaries.
- Champion adoption and change management by engaging employees, communicating the case for change, and embedding new capabilities and ways of working across the organization.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in transformation, strategy, operations, technology delivery, or a related discipline within a complex, highly regulated environment.
- Proven leadership of large-scale, multi-year transformation programs with measurable improvements in client experience, efficiency, risk, resiliency, or growth.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic roadmaps, prioritize investments, manage interdependencies, and drive execution across multiple workstreams.
- Strong business and technology acumen, including experience with process redesign, automation, data, platform modernization, and operating model change.
- Exceptional stakeholder leadership, with the ability to influence senior leaders, align diverse partners, and navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear decisions, executive-level insights, and actionable plans.
