The Operational Services Account Solutions — Advisor Services Domestic & International Hybrid Team serves as a critical operations partner supporting both domestic Advisor Services and International Account Solutions work. The team provides accurate, timely, and risk-focused support for new account onboarding, account maintenance, client correspondence, documentation review, and related operational processing for clients, financial advisors, and internal business partners.
As a Team Lead on the OSAS Advisor Services Domestic & International Hybrid Team, you will help drive operational excellence, support team performance, manage escalations, and strengthen the client and partner experience across domestic and international account workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach, guide, and develop team members through feedback, calibration, knowledge sharing, onboarding support, and leadership development activities.
- Serve as a senior resource and subject matter expert for complex client, documentation, processing, and escalation scenarios.
- Support accurate and timely processing of domestic and international account opening, account maintenance, client correspondence, and documentation review workflows.
- Help balance productivity, quality, service expectations, business priorities, and risk considerations while directing workflow with limited supervision.
- Identify, manage, and escalate operational, client, financial, brand, regulatory, and compliance risks through sound judgment and strong control discipline.
- Partner with managers, peers, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Advisor Services, International Services, and other internal groups to reinforce policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.
- Communicate professionally with clients, financial advisors, and partners to provide timely support, reduce client effort, and resolve issues effectively.
- Support the Senior Manager by reinforcing priorities, identifying trends, acting as an Acting Team Manager when needed, and helping maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- FINRA Series 7, 63, and either 9/10 or 4/24 licenses required.
- 1-2 years of Team Lead experience within OSAS Advisor Services.
- Strong working knowledge of new account processing, account maintenance, documentation review, operational controls, and risk management disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, bring projects and reporting to conclusion, and operate with limited day-to-day instruction.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task, complete multiple complex assignments, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced technical skills, including the ability to use multiple applications simultaneously, such as Windows, internet research, database systems, and email.
- Demonstrated customer service, problem-resolution, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication to the audience.
- Collaborative and relational work style with demonstrated success in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, strong work ethic, and high level of integrity and ethics.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality service while supporting department needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-4 years in Advisor Services Account Solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Schwab products, services, policies, procedures, complex subject matters, and brokerage industry practices.
- Proficiency in the design, implementation, and delivery of training programs for continuing education related to processes, regulations, products, and services.
- Demonstrated ability to support team members through procedural, technology, regulatory, structural, or organizational change
- Desire to take on a leadership role and continue developing leadership capability.
