The International Trader Segment team within Retail’s Global Business Products and Client Experience is responsible for bringing the best of Schwab’s active trader offering to our clients residing outside the United States and offering all Schwab clients diversification by way of investing in global securities. The ideal candidate will leverage their communication, organization, passion for making a difference and partnership building to help deliver best in class products and experiences to clients residing outside of the US and the professionals that serve them.

Reporting to the Director of the International Trader Segment, the Manager, International Trader Products will focus on the trader client’s experience by nurturing relationships with the domestic product team, compliance, risk, legal, and service. By exhibiting strong organizational and interpersonal skills the candidate will manage small and mid-size projects such as new product roll outs and existing product working groups.

The candidate must have a desire to learn new and complex global trading structures, including initiatives to launch trading in additional markets. They must be able to deliver exceptional experiences to our clients by defining business needs, creating requirements, and keeping International at the table when new products are being considered.

  • Assists in troubleshooting issues raised by global investing clients and representatives
  • Responsible for supporting operational and/or business as usual functions assigned to them
  • Hosts cross functional meetings to create awareness of project deliverables and define business requirements.
  • Takes initiative to collaborate with our data partners to build/manage dashboards which help inform us of trends and potential risks in global trading
  • Keeps stakeholders informed of progress, issues, and risks
  • Tracks projects on team SharePoint and updates progress.
  • Supports team members as needed.

What you have


To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of financial services experience working in front line roles
  • Strong grasp of active trader products – thinkorswim, ngOMS, OES, options, futures, forex, crypto
  • Has experience leading projects.
  • Experience developing business requirements.
  • Project management experience, understanding AGILE project manager methodologies
  • Understanding of Schwab’s service and product offering and web/mobile experience.
  • Familiarity working with business and technology teams in a cross functional manner. 

Preferred:

  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Experience working with international clients a plus
  • Comfortable leading calls spanning multiple business and technology groups.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to negotiate and the ability to de-escalate conflicts.
  • Experience with or familiarity supporting international customers that reside outside of the US 

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
