The Digital Rep Solutions team manages many of the digital tools used by Schwab representatives to support clients and prospects. The DisCo platform is an enterprise-wide platform used by thousands of representatives to send millions of personalized, compliant communications to Schwab clients; our team owns the roadmap and outcomes of it.
What You’ll Do:
The DisCo Product Owner will be responsible for defining and driving features for the platform and helping shape its future. You will do this by building detailed epics and user stories, managing prioritization, and working closely with our Scrum team to implement and production support team to support. You’ll also serve as a SME and business representative for the team, helping partner with stakeholders – most notably but not limited to marketing, risk management, compliance, and many across the business – to build a roadmap and design DisCo solutions that improve rep & client outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong Agile product experience, as well as prior experience with rep-facing applications.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in software product management, product ownership, or related roles
- Experience working with software engineers, testers, and designers in an Agile environment
- Ability to translate complex business processes into technical requirements
- Practiced in gathering data and synthesizing insights to inform decisions and measure impact
- High attention to detail with the ability to define and refine processes, troubleshoot issues, and retrospect to find improvement opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow you to both tell stories and communicate complex messages and technical trade-offs to engineer, stakeholder, and leadership teams
- Successful history of partnering with key business and delivery stakeholders
- Effective relationship builder--ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as various personality types
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Relentless commitment to understanding and supporting end user experience, including working with technical support and reliability engineering partners
- Product Owner/Management certification or equivalent experience practicing the full product management lifecycle
- Working knowledge with Jira, Rally, or other product/project management tools
- Familiarity with or interest in learning data analysis tools such querying relational databases, using Excel lookups and pivoting, using data visualization tools, or similar
