Join Schwab Mobile at a pivotal time as we modernize core client experiences and raise the quality bar across iOS and Android. This role gives you direct influence on how millions of clients experience reliability, performance, and trust in every release. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and release teams to shape test strategy early and drive quality outcomes, not just defect detection. It is a strong opportunity for a QA leader who wants to combine hands-on mobile testing depth with broader ownership of quality practices across the SDLC.
Lead end-to-end mobile QA for iOS and Android features, executing risk-based test planning and validation across functional, regression, and release cycles.
Perform and guide manual and automated testing using Appium, XCUITest, and Espresso, while improving automation coverage, stability, and execution speed.
Partner with developers, product owners, and release engineers to define acceptance criteria, shift quality left, and ensure production readiness.
Track and communicate quality metrics, defect trends, and release risk; drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement actions after incidents and major releases.
What you have
Required Qualifications
*Develops and executes mobile QA solutions that improve product integrity, release confidence, and operational performance.
*Strong analytical thinker who can evaluate ambiguous issues, assess risk, and set clear priorities.
*Deep hands-on mobile QA experience across iOS and Android, including functional, regression, and release validation.
*Proficient in manual and automated testing using Appium,XCUITest, and Espresso.
*Designs scalable test strategies that improve coverage, reliability, and release confidence.
*Demonstrates technical leadership by driving quality standards and influencing decisions across teams.
*Partners across engineering, product, and business teams to clarify requirements, prioritize risk, and align test strategy.
*Improves test and verification approaches to increase reliability, reduce production issues, and accelerate defect detection.
*Applies strong incident thinking to identify root causes, strengthen response, and prevent repeat issues.
*Promotes secure, legal, and ethical data handling through quality controls and validation practices.
*Influences quality standards and technical decisions through clear communication, data, and practical recommendations.
*Supports deployment readiness by validating release quality, coordinating go/no-go inputs, and ensuring post-deploy verification.
*Designs scalable QA approaches that adapt to evolving product scope, architecture changes, and business priorities.

*Demonstrates ownership and accountability in production-readiness and go/no-go recommendations.
*Mentors peers through knowledge sharing, test design reviews, and quality best practices.
*Produces clear, concise written communication tailored to technical and business stakeholders.
