Sr. Specialist, Investor Services Onboarding

The IS Onboarding Team supports onboarding for our retail Investor Services Organization, including the Branch Network and Wealth and Advice Solutions.
The IS Onboarding Sr. Specialist will provide support that focuses on initial onboarding and ongoing support for the majority of the Investor Services Groups and focus on:
- Navigating internal systems to execute on a set of tasks required to onboard new employees
- Assisting in addressing onboarding related issues and proposed enhancements
- Developing and maintaining strong internal relationships with key partners
- Communicating effectively with new hires, hiring managers and key partners
- Assisting in identifying, assessing, and implementing improvements to the core process
- Responding to inquiries to the Branch Onboarding and IS Onboarding email boxes
- Assisting with ad hoc projects to support business needs
- Delivering outstanding business results
What you have
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial services—service and operations, project management
- Proficiency in Schwab systems directly related to role including: MyAccess, MyIT, MyTraining, SharePoint, SalesForce, etc
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Strong relationship building skills along with strong ability to collaborate across functions
Preferred:
- Project management skills and experience strongly preferred
- Full commitment and passion to serving the needs of clients, employees, and shareholders
- High focus on execution and business-accountability
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities in processes flows
- Proven analytical skills with a level of attention to detail in order to adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines
- Ability to gain the respect, trust, and support of leadership, partners, and peers
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including being able to synthesize data, develop recommendations, and influence partners
- Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office and the aptitude to learn new programs, as well as easily utilize multiple applications simultaneously
- Preferred working knowledge of Schwab internal systems, tools, and resources; including but not limited to Client Central, Salesforce, and Knowledge Center
- Ability to work with minimal oversight of day to day responsibilities
- Proficiency in prioritization and execution of tasks
- Effectively communicate with the field and business partners in matters directly related to employee onboarding.
- Assist in leading business workstreams (Weekly Reports, Bulk Orders, Onboarding Reference Guide, Etc.)
- Ability to diagnose basic system access issues (cashiering, cda, etc) using tools provided to IS Onboarding team
- Ability to effectively prioritize assigned onboarding tasks to meet deadlines and create a near seamless onboarding experience for employees onboarded
- Consistently uses resources available to solve basic issues before seeking manager assistance
