The AS Continuous Improvement Program (ASCI) was established in 2020 and provides a forum where any AS employee can submit improvement ideas, no matter how big or small. Since inception, the program has received close to 7,000 ideas and implemented almost 1,400 of them! This new Sr. Manager – People Leader position will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the continuous improvement program for Advisor Services by
In this role you will:
- Managing a small team of 3-5 professionals who are responsible for executing improvement ideas individually and as members of project teams
- Developing and executing strategy to evolve and grow the continuous improvement program for Advisor Services
- Promoting the ASCI program through various channels, including, but not limited to newsletters, Allego videos, MySource articles, virtual and in person roadshows, contests, and recognition programs.
- Preparing and presenting reporting of program progress and results to AS business leaders and their organizations
- Facilitating impact assessment meetings with the team to prioritize continuous improvement submission ideas
- Establishing and maintaining business partnerships with organizations inside and outside of Advisor Services to facilitate the implementation of CI ideas
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of " challenging the status quo " this role has specific qualifications that successful should have.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ people management experience
- 10+ years’ work experience in the financial industry
- 8+ years’ experience with Schwab operational processes and technologies, including but not limited to myQ, Client Central, Schwab Advisor Center, Forms, Docusign, Salesforce, and Document Intake/Document Control
- 3+ years’ experience successfully implementing improvement initiatives
- Passion to continuously drive improvement and hold others to that standard
- Ability to overcome ambiguity and other obstacles to successfully achieve meaningful results
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Advanced communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to independently manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives with limited supervision
- Strong facilitation, organization, and collaboration skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented approach
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience with the BrightIdea platform preferred
