Segmentation delivers a premium client experience to our high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients through a differentiated service model. Managed Investing Operations plays a critical role supporting a broad range of operational and technical expertise, supporting our high-net-worth clients.

We are seeking an experienced, team focused Senior Specialist to provide end-to-end operational support for Managed Investing households, partnering closely with Investor Services, Advice, Partner Support, and CST teams. This role requires strong judgment, ownership mindset, and the ability to navigate complex client and operational scenarios.

What you'll do:

• Own and resolve prioritized Managed Investing operational work for SPWS Premium households, delivering accurate, timely, and client centric outcomes.
• Provide proactive and customized operational solutions that support account servicing, investment changes, and ongoing advice delivery.
• Demonstrate strong risk awareness and sound judgment, balancing client experience, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.
• Utilize phone, email, and chat channels as appropriate, leveraging digital tools and available technology to enhance the Managed Investing client experience.
• Flex focus throughout the day to meet critical cut-offs, service level commitments, and volume fluctuations.
• Serve as a tenured subject matter resource, supporting peers and business partners with complex cases, escalations, and prioritization guidance.
• Partner with leadership to identify, monitor, and mitigate existing and emerging operational risks.
• Provide guidance to business partners on appropriate escalation pathways and risk based decision making.
• Act as a consistent role model for Schwab’s brand, service expectations, and regulatory standards.

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of Managed Investing Operations experience, with increasing responsibility and a track record of strong service delivery.
• Experience supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, including collaboration with internal partners who serve these clients.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build trusted, consultative relationships.
• Ability to deliver excellent service via verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrated ability to:
  • Work independently on complex cases
  • Anticipate issues and design appropriate solutions
• Provide sound guidance to peers, partners, and leadership
  Strong understanding of Managed Investing operational processes, controls, and risk considerations.
• Licenses:
  • Series 7 and 63/66 preferred
  • Series 9/10 or 24/4 a plus
