Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

Schwab Private Wealth Services (SPWS) delivers a differentiated experience for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients through deep operational expertise and strong partnership with Advice and Service teams. Managed Investing Operations plays a critical role in enabling advice delivery, portfolio servicing, enrollment activities, and ongoing house hold level support.

The Manager (IC) role builds upon the core expectations of a Senior Specialist while adding expanded accountability for workflow orchestration, project leadership, and on the job coaching of peers. This role serves as a processor, operational leader, and escalation point within the team, helping translate priorities into execution while maintaining strong risk and service outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Own and resolve complex Managed Investing operational workflows for Premium households, ensuring timely, accurate, and client centric outcomes.
  • Actively manage and coordinate workflow, helping balance volumes, priorities, cut-offs, and handoffs across the team.
  • Identify trends, bottlenecks, or risks within daily operations and partner with leadership on mitigation strategies.
  • Lead or support transformation through process improvement initiatives and operational projects, from discovery through implementation.
  • Serve as a go to subject matter expert for Managed Investing operational processes, controls, and escalation handling.
  • Coach and mentor peers, providing real-time feedback, knowledge sharing, and support on complex cases.
  • Support onboarding and skill development of newer specialists by modeling best practices and Schwab service standards.
  • Collaborate closely with business partners (Advice, ISC, CST, Technology, Risk) to align execution with business objectives.
  • Exercise strong judgment and risk awareness, escalating appropriately and helping others understand risk implications.
  • Deliver top-tier service processing client requests within Premium SLA requirements.

  • Experience supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients in a premium service environment.
  • Strong understanding of Managed Investing workflows, systems, risk controls, and escalation pathways.
  • Licenses:

    • Series 7 and 63/66 required

    • Series 9/10 or 24/4 required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to:
    • Manage competing priorities and workflows
