The Retail Forge Integration team is responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end Private Markets offer and experience for Retail clients and integrating experiences into the Schwab platform. This includes broad leadership over integration strategy, client and rep experience, and day to day management and coordination of integration efforts.

Reporting to the Director of Retail Client Experience – Forge Integration, the Senior Manager (individual contributor) will support the strategy and development and execution of the Private Markets offer and experiences supporting the integration. The Senior Manager will:

    • Help design the Private Markets strategy, offer and end-to-end experience for Retail clients
    • Help define the long-term vision for integrating Forge into our platform and digital channels, including a roadmap to get there, in partnership with key stakeholders at Schwab
    • Stand up implementation programs to define requirements and facilitate delivery of the envisioned client experience, including working with relevant technology domains across the firm; engaging in discussions around trade-offs; and providing feedback to partners designing solutions
    • Ensure that the experience that is ultimately delivered is in line with what the Retail business envisioned

The Senior Manager will work as part of a small collaborative team. They will build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across Schwab’s businesses. This individual must be a self-starter and a thought leader, approaching issues with a client-first mentality and leading stakeholders through structured decision-making processes. The individual must be able to cultivate strong partnerships and influence others outside their immediate team to execute decisions made.

What you have


  • Required
    • 4+ years of work experience in Strategy and/or Client Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Strong sense of urgency and a proactive approach
    • High degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment
    • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability developing materials and effectively presenting information
    • Superior analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail
    • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
    • Strategic and structured thinking
    • Personal and professional alignment with Schwab’s vision and values, with a strong interest in our business
  • Preferred but not required
    • Prior integration experience
    • Prior financial services industry experience
