We’re seeking International Trader Services Sr. Specialists who enjoy assisting others as they trade in the foreign markets and want to grow their career with a top financial services firm.
In International Client Services, our goal is to deliver world-class service to Traders around the globe, help clients develop their trading expertise using Think Or Swim, and be the most trusted Trading team on the street. We support international clients as well as US customers who prefer speaking to someone about their trading in Spanish or Chinese.

Shift Hours: 9am - 6pm Central Time
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Series 7, 63 required
- Chinese &/or Spanish proficiency required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Series 3 preferred
- Series 9 and 10 preferred, Series 34 preferred
- Certified Market Technician or other Trader designation or training is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Client Service, Financial Services and/or Brokerage Services
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience working with Schwab’s retail international client rules, jurisdictional governance, product limitations and nuances with servicing non-US customers
- Strong knowledge of FINRA sanctioned trading rules, Schwab Brokerage's internal trading policies and procedures, Schwab Clearing's functions
- Professional trader level of expertise in equities, complex option strategy and risk, portfolio margin, futures, forex, market structure and a detailed knowledge of the securities industry and capital markets.
- Ability to teach relate complex concepts to clients and associates of varying levels of expertise
- Displays the confidence, skill and professionalism demanded by active traders to resolve time- sensitive, and possible costly issues in a manner that strengthens the client relationship and mitigates risk for the firm
- Must have necessary sense of urgency, ability to multitask in serving multiple clients at one time, and strong judgment and prioritization skills
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
