DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.

Our opportunity:
As the leader of the Training team, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for executing the training strategy and leading a team of training designers and facilitators to provide effective and engaging learning experiences for employees. The Training team supports the overall Organization Development team’s mission to drive organizational effectiveness by providing effective learning programs to build the capability employees need to confidently perform.

What you’ll do

Inspire and lead a team of training designers and facilitators to provide effective & engaging training programs for DAFgiving360.
Model strong consulting with stakeholders to assess skill gaps and identify training needs across departments, and translate them into recommendations and an actionable roadmap for the team.
Oversee program delivery through the team, including: intake and scoping, capacity planning, instructional design quality, facilitator readiness, and step into resolve risks or tradeoffs.
Monitor learning effectiveness (participation, feedback, knowledge/skill outcomes) and use data to iterate content, improve facilitation, and report progress to stakeholders.
Build the training team for enterprise-wide impact through a clear strategy that prioritizes areas of greatest need and largest value delivery.
Refine training team processes, including intake, regular maintenance, training standards, roles & responsibilities, and facilitation scheduling.
Onboard, coach, and develop talent, especially to clarify role expectations and priorities, ensure the team has the skills and capacity to meet enterprise training needs, and to remove blockers.
Collaborate closely with Organization Development partners to ensure training aligns to broader organizational effectiveness goals and change initiatives

What you have


BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
8+ years’ experience in training, learning & development, or related field
2+ years of experience leading a team, preferred
Excellent communication skills including the ability to synthesize information, develop recommendations, and present to a variety of audiences
Demonstrated ability influence through building strong relationships, building credibility with stakeholders, and collaborating with key partners
Proactive ability to prioritize competing demands, effectively manage multiple deliverables, and clearly communicate priorities
Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and coach a team.
Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning, and learning technologies
