Senior Manager, Investor Services Content & Experiences
Your Opportunity
We believe that, when done right, investing liberates people to create their own destiny. We are driven by our purpose to champion every client’s goal with passion and integrity. We respect and appreciate the diversity of our employees, our clients, and the communities we serve. We challenge conventions strategically to create value for our clients, our firm and the world. We live and bring to life the concept of ‘own your tomorrow’ every day. We champion our employee strengths, guide their development, and invest in their long-term success. We hire optimistic, results-oriented, curious, innovative, and adaptable people with the desire to help our clients and one another succeed.
As a company, we were established by Chuck over 40 years ago to champion Main Street over Wall Street, and to help Americans transform themselves from earners to owners. Through advocacy and innovation, we work to make investing more affordable, accessible and understandable for all. As we enter our fifth decade, we are looking for talented, innovative and driven people who believe they can help themselves, and our clients, create a better future.
Our Opportunity
Investor Services Content & Experiences is seeking a Senior Manager to serve as the strategic steward of our Investor Services digital front doors. This role is accountable for the health, performance, prioritization, and long-term evolution of the assigned channel, translating business and audience strategies into a coherent channel roadmap and integrated digital experience.
The Senior Manager will support setting channel direction, prioritization and recommending tradeoffs, connecting work across content, digital tools and capabilities, optimization, analytics, operations, and more.
The successful candidate will balance today’s commitments with tomorrow’s evolution. This role will help keep the channel stable and responsive while progressively building toward a future that will enable more reusable experience patterns, modular and structured content, scalable workflows, stronger experimentation and measurement, and human-first, machine-smart experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the assigned Investor Services digital channel’s strategy, health, and evolution, including purpose, audiences, experience principles, integrated roadmap, and performance objectives.
- Lead prioritization and recommend tradeoffs when demand exceeds capacity, connecting decisions across projects, journeys, platforms, and capabilities to strengthen the broader Schwab experience.
- Serve as the strategic channel partner for Product and Audience Marketing, building relationships and aligning shared capability teams to deliver cohesive outcomes.
- Define success measures with Analytics & Performance partners and champion channel improvements.
- Steward the channel lifecycle and launch readiness, balancing new initiatives with BAU, maintenance, bugs, regulatory changes, content health, and technical dependencies.
- Communicate priorities, performance, decisions, risks, capacity, and dependencies to leaders and partners; escalate issues with options and recommendations.
- Evolve the operating model through clearer decision rights, simpler workflows, greater reuse, and new technology and AI-enabled practices as platforms and processes mature.
About the Team
Investor Services Content & Experiences stewards Schwab’s Investor Services digital front doors and is responsible for how Schwab comes to life across those experiences. The team combines broad channel leadership with deep cross-channel capability expertise spanning content strategy and development, content operations, digital tools, optimization and experimentation, analytics and performance, and portfolio operations. We are strategic partners, experience stewards, systems thinkers, and disciplined operators.
What you have
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in digital product management, channel strategy, digital marketing, experience strategy, or a related field; financial services or another highly regulated industry strongly preferred.
- Proven channel, product, journey, or portfolio ownership: translating business, audience, and product strategies into roadmaps, requirements, and delivery plans; aligning stakeholders; and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Ability to make strategic portfolio tradeoffs, sequence priorities, and recommend what not to do while balancing long-term channel health with near-term delivery, operations, and risk.
- Strong digital experience judgment and working fluency in content strategy, UX, design systems, technology, analytics, experimentation, accessibility, and operations; able to connect and challenge specialists.
- Data fluency: setting KPIs, interpreting performance, and using insights to prioritize improvements. Adobe Analytics, experimentation platform, or comparable measurement experience is valuable.
- Experience partnering with product and engineering teams and working with CMS platforms; technology fluency is valuable. Understanding of SEO/AEO, AI search, LLMs, structured content, and machine-readable experiences.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders and specialists without direct authority; exceptional written and verbal communication to simplify complexity, frame decisions, and present recommendations across organizational levels.
- Strong judgment, curiosity, accountability, and ability to work autonomously as ownership boundaries and processes evolve.
What Success Looks Like
- The channel has a clear strategy, roadmap, purpose, audience, and set of performance measures that partners understand.
- Priorities reflect channel and client outcomes rather than simply the loudest or newest request.
- Business partners experience a clear front door for channel strategy and can rely on the Channel Product Leader to connect the right capabilities and teams.
- Channel performance, risks, content health, maintenance needs, and optimization opportunities are visible and routinely used to make decisions.
- New launches strengthen the broader channel experience and are followed by measurement, learning, maintenance, and optimization rather than treated as one-time projects.
- The channel progressively adopts reusable patterns, structured and modular content, stronger experimentation, scalable workflows, and AI/LLM-ready practices without compromising today’s delivery and stability.
