The Strategy & Innovation organization is responsible for corporate strategy, large strategic programs, innovation, and AI Strategy, Acceleration, and Program Management across the firm. The team partners closely with the CEO, executive leadership, and business units to shape the firm’s direction while driving high-priority, cross-enterprise initiatives.
Within Strategy & Innovation, the AI Strategy, Acceleration and Program team (ASAP) helps define, organize, and accelerate Schwab’s enterprise AI agenda in close partnership with enterprise, technology, and data teams.
We are looking to add a Senior Manager who will:
- Support AI Program efforts and help drive AI-related change management (e.g, partnering with HR on workforce readiness)
- Proactively frame decisions, synthesize input, and drive follow-through in areas where the team influences through facilitation and alignment rather than direct authority
- Create clear, concise materials, including strategy updates, decision documents, operating reviews, scorecards, briefing materials, and leadership presentations.
- Help support internal and external AI communications in partnership with relevant stakeholders, ensuring Schwab’s AI narrative is clear, consistent, and business-focused
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in wealth management, brokerage, or financial services
- Strong desire to help activate on AI across Schwab
- Familiarity with modern AI tools and workflows (e.g., copilot, LLM-based solutions)
- Demonstrated expertise in developing strategy and managing large-scale, HR and technology transformation initiatives
- Strong program management skills, including managing workstreams, stakeholders, dependencies, risks, decisions, and deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to take concepts from idea through execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working on or supporting AI, data, or technology-driven initiatives
- Experience building trust and alignment across stakeholders.
- Change Management training and/or certifications (e.g. Prosci)
