The Asset Transfer Services (ATS) Department is responsible for guiding clients and RIAs through the process of moving securities in or out of Schwab. ATS strives to lead the industry by crafting the best transfer experience for our clients, internal business partners, and contra/brokerage firms.
In this role, you’ll turn operational data into actionable insights by analyzing trends, identifying bottlenecks, and uncovering root causes that drive process improvements and business outcomes. You’ll partner closely with Operations Data teams to develop and enhance dashboards, monitor key performance indicators, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You'll help strengthen the control environment by supporting audits, risk reviews, and governance activities through accurate reporting, data integrity, and process documentation. Additionally, you'll play a key role in business continuity planning by maintaining critical data and reporting needed for operational readiness and recovery during disruptions. You’ll also support Policies, Procedures, and Supervisory (POS) governance by maintaining documentation, coordinating updates, and ensuring alignment with compliance, risk, and supervisory requirements.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of ATS policies and procedures.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in ATS or related transfers expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with audits, project management, and process improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, build consensus, and synthesize complex information.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, assess risk, and exercise sound business judgment.
- Must be team-oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills, manage multiple priorities effectively, and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Passion for learning, driving process simplification, and respectfully challenging the status quo.
- Excellent judgment and risk analysis skills.
