Schwab remains committed to providing increased visibility to career growth opportunities and job requirements. This posting announcement is part of increased transparency and while all qualified applicants will be reviewed and considered, a preferred candidate for this role has been identified.
Role Description
The Managing Director, Marketing Efficiency & Analytics is responsible for helping Schwab's Marketing organization maximize the value of its resources by providing enterprise planning, budgeting, resource management, performance measurement, and analytical capabilities that improve organizational efficiency and business outcomes.
This role ensures the organization has the visibility, discipline, and insights necessary to operate efficiently at scale. The function serves as a cross-marketing capability focused on improving how resources are allocated, how performance is measured, and how organizational investments are managed.
A core responsibility of the organization is driving cross-marketing efficiency. The team oversees enterprise budgeting and financial optimization, workforce planning and resource allocation, vendor management, real estate coordination, and enterprise marketing programs such as the Marketing Early Career Rotational Program. The organization helps ensure that Marketing's people, budget, agency investments, vendor relationships, physical assets, and operational capacity are deployed effectively and aligned to the highest-value business priorities.
The role also serves as Marketing's enterprise analytics and insights capability. The team develops and maintains performance dashboards, recurring reporting, and measurement frameworks that provide leaders with visibility into marketing effectiveness across audiences, experiences, and channels. Through analytics, research, and insight generation, the organization helps leaders understand performance trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and evaluate the effectiveness of Marketing's investments.
A key responsibility of the team is translating information into action. By combining quantitative analysis, qualitative research, operational metrics, and business performance data, the organization creates clear narratives and recommendations helping leaders understand what is working, where improvements are needed, and how resources can be utilized more effectively. The goal is not simply to report on performance, but to generate insights that improve efficiency, accountability, and outcomes across the organization.
The organization continuously seeks opportunities to improve how Marketing operates, including identifying efficiencies in workforce deployment, vendor utilization, agency sourcing models, technology investments, and operational processes. Success is measured through improved resource utilization, stronger investment discipline, greater organizational efficiency, enhanced visibility into performance, and the ability to demonstrate the value Marketing delivers to Schwab and its clients.
Ultimately, Marketing Efficiency & Analytics exists to ensure Marketing's financial investments, human capital, operational capacity, and analytical capabilities work together to maximize impact. The organization helps Marketing become more efficient, more accountable, and more insight-driven while maintaining focus on delivering exceptional business and client outcomes.
