The Forge Integration Team has a dual mandate: successfully integrate Forge into Schwab and help build the future of Schwab’s private markets business. This includes aligning systems, processes, and teams across both firms while developing and supporting the products, platforms, and client experiences that will expand access to private markets for Schwab clients.

Reporting to the Managing Director of the Forge Integration, the Director (people leader) will lead the end-to-end design, development, management, operations, and strategic leadership of private market investment funds within a proprietary marketplace platform. This role owns the full fund lifecycle—from product conception and structuring through launch, ongoing operations, and performance delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Fund design and development: architect private market fund products (structure, terms, fee models) aligned with marketplace strategy and investor demand. Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk partners to structure fund products.
• Management and operations: Oversee fund design, administration, distributions, and reporting cycles. Establish and design operational infrastructure, controls, and workflows, and oversee integration of fund operations with marketplace technology and onboarding systems.
• Investment and fund leadership: facilitate investment sourcing, due diligence, and investment decision making.
• Compliance and governance: In coordination with Compliance and Legal teams, ensure regulatory compliance across fund structures.
• Marketplace and commercial leadership: Align fund products with marketplace growth objectives and distribution channels. Support strategic objectives of Private Markets business.

What you have

Required Experience:

• 15+ years in private, fund management, or alternative investments, including fund formation and operations
• Proven track record structuring and launching investment funds
• Deep knowledge of fund economics, securities regulation, and fund administration
• Experience with fintech/marketplace platforms or digitally distributed investment products preferred
• Detailed familiarity with regulatory requirements of a Bank owned Investment Advisory and reporting requirements
• Experience within the Private Equity and Venture Capital landscape
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and investor-facing communication skills
• Relevant credentials preferred (CFA, MBA, JD, or equivalent)
