As part of Schwab Investment Products & Solutions Services (SIPSS), you will join a dynamic group focused on delivering a broad suite of investment products and solutions, helping clients achieve their financial goals. SIPSS brings together expertise in product development, offer management, platform strategy, and delivery—ensuring Schwab’s leadership in wealth and investment management.
This position will be responsible for building, managing, and continuously evolving a Data Roadmap in support of the Schwab Investment Products organization. You will work closely with internal and external technology partners to determine the appropriate sequence of work, in a way that continuously delivers business impact while also follows an efficient, logical development pathway.
To do this well, you will have a solid understanding of the business value derived from each piece of and the technological work needed to implement each phase. You’ll collaborate closely across teams as One Schwab, strengthening data quality, identifying gaps, and partnering with business leaders to shape metrics and KPIs that matter. Key Responsibilities for this role include:
- Define the execution approach and gather the appropriate resources, working closely with Analytics & Business Insight, Information Management Technology, and the Global Data Office.
- Take a hands-on role in delivering impactful near-term analytic solutions for time-critical needs.
- Develop and apply a deep and broad understanding of the underlying drivers for Investment Product growth and success at Schwab
- Partner with business stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure their needs and current pain points are understood and effectively captured. You will craft detailed use cases, process flow and vision documents as part of this process.
- Ensure executive stakeholders know the business value that will come from a high quality and dependable ecosystem that supports our Investment Product landscape. You will build demand across the enterprise to be the ‘next use case’ addressed, and will continually communicate the potential of the system, as well as the payoff already delivered.
- This position requires an enthusiastic, mature and responsible manager with sound analytic and technology skills who can adeptly manage resources and partners at organization, prioritizing, and completing multiple projects within aggressive deadlines.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of technical program management/leadership experience, preferably in financial services
- Proven track record of analytical data and information projects that deliver clear business impact
- Strategic view of program outcomes to act proactively to achieve success
- Ability to collaboratively work across all levels and aspects of the organization, with internal and external partners, to achieve results while taking accountability for project deliverables
- A blend of clear business acumen, execution strength, and technical knowledge in data analytics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to quickly synthesize data and develop recommendations for business partners
- Superior translator and liaison between the business and technology – understanding business needs and framing them in a technology context, and vice versa
- Sharp analytical skills with an ability to understand and build metrics, analyze data for insight, and optimize reporting based on learnings and feedback
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
