Join the Operational Workforce Technology (OWT) Team as a .NET/Angular Software Developer & Engineer and help

deliver high-impact solutions that power critical business operations for back-office support staff. You’ll work across a

portfolio of 60+ distributed .NET applications and supporting infrastructure, while helping modernize our platform

through upgrades in Angular, .NET Core, and PCF.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the full delivery lifecycle in an agile environment—partnering on solution design,

hands-on implementation, automated testing, and Tier II application support. You’ll also collaborate closely with

business stakeholders and technology teams across Schwab, giving you strong visibility and influence across multiple

domains.

▪ Work closely with developers on an integrated Agile team to deliver high quality solutions

▪ Partner with engineering and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC to understand requirements and provide

continuous test feedback

▪ Define test strategy, scope, and objectives; develop and maintain test plans and test cases

▪ Establish and evolve QA practices, standards, and metrics within an Agile/Scrum framework

▪ Perform root cause analysis through strong debugging and troubleshooting

▪ Operate effectively both independently and within cross functional teams

Required Qualifications

▪ 5+ years of hands-on application programming experience in an Agile development environment

▪ Experience with all the following Angular, RXJS, TypeScript, PrimeNg and .NET Core

▪ Full Stack Development Experience with Microsoft Framework, C# & VB.Net

▪ Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and SSIS Packages

▪ Worked with the SQL jobs and SSIS Packages to load datasets into SQL Tables

▪ Experience working with Operations based datasets and loading processes

▪ Has the knowledge and ability to upgrade Microsoft .NET Framework projects

▪ Understanding and hands on development experience with MyAccess application integration

▪ Hands on experience with Operations focused workflow applications that leverage finance and fund business

principles

▪ Experience in integrating operational data services using request-reply architecture

▪ Experience in deploying artifacts using Bamboo, Harness and GitHub Actions

▪ Experience in writing unit test cases on Karma and Jest framework and fixing code smells

▪ Worked on data reconciliation ETL processes, audit resolutions and code vulnerabilities

▪ Independently applies application maintenance practices and collaborates to ensure continuous support

▪ Handles incident responses independently while working with cross-functional teams to lessen impact

▪ Executes rigorous testing to ensure systems and products meet quality standards

▪ Effectively prioritizes requirements using roadmaps, epics, and backlogs

▪ Independently executes software design techniques that meet project requirements

▪ Applies standards and processes to create and verify software components

▪ Hands on experience in creating, deploying and utilizing certificates to CredHub on PCF foundations

▪ Experience using GitHub Co-Pilot for solutioning

▪ Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues using best practices to support live applications

▪ Prioritizes compliance, security, and scalability of data systems

▪ Executes strategies to restore services promptly and address disruptions

▪ Addresses QA challenges by applying best practices in testing and compliance

▪ Validates requirements and constraints to support effective development and operations

▪ Monitors and addresses security policy violations using best practices

▪ Resolves software design challenges using predictive and adaptive methods

▪ Applies best practices to build, test, and validate software components while resolving issues

▪ Consolidates software changes into secure, stable releases using best practices

▪ Ensures systems align with cloud architectures using modern design methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

▪ BS or MS in computer science or related technical field

▪ Hands-on experience with server and configuration management

▪ Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions when tools don’t work
