The Client Banking Services (CBS) Solutions team supports internal partners and clients with a wide range of CBS-related inquiries. As product experts, CBS Solutions leads the way in complex client needs and product offering nuances. Our goal is to support an efficient and accurate “through client’s eyes” service experience. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving. CBS Solutions professionals engage in the change management process as organizational leaders and client advocates in various ways.

CBS Solutions delivers prompt, quality support to clients and internal partners handling inbound phone calls and escalations efficiently.  Support is primarily phone-based, requiring a passion for client service, positive energy, problem solving skills, and an ownership mindset. This position is highly focused on prompt and accurate resolutions. Responsibilities include phone support mostly to internal CBS teams and external clients and identification and reporting of improvement opportunities. Accordingly, the role requires a high degree of business acumen and judgment, self-motivation, organization skills, use of the edge conversation model, and capacity to meet specific phone metrics with clients.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in the banking, brokerage or financial services industry.
  • CBS phone team experience with a passion for service, positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong client focus.
  • Exceptional results in CBS phone team role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Schwab internal systems, tools, and resources; including but not limited to Client Central, MyQ, IWIN and all Client Banking Services systems.
  • Excellent relationship management skills (negotiating, collaborating, and influencing).
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, work independently and demonstrate the ability to analyze business needs and manage/coordinate projects from start to finish. 
  • Ability to coach and influence others to achieve desired business results.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Flexible to work within the Hours of Operation:  Monday thru Friday 7am - 9pm EST.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
