As a Senior Specialist, Business Analysis in Estate Services you will be instrumental in helping to drive change and execute on process improvement within the department. In this role, you will facilitate onboarding, develop, and maintain training curriculum for all Estate Services functions. Projects are broad in scope and require initiative, strategic-thinking and leadership skills. This role will require you to be flexible and able to prioritize work effectively to meet specific deadlines and manage interruptions without risking the overall success of department goals. Relationship building plays a key role in the position to ensure that projects are completed in the most effective and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- New hire onboarding including but not limited to coordination of all new hire training, resources, MyAccess coordination including troubleshooting system issues, set up WebEx/Teams or training rooms, maintain new hire calendar for specific training schedule
- Work directly with new hires, as well as existing employees to gain policy knowledge, efficiency, and consistency with processes related to Estates work
- Collaborate with training peers and managers to onboard new hires to provide the best user experience, effective training communication, reporting and surveys as needed
- Function as a point of contact for questions related to content and build in critical thinking skills to create an optimum client experience as well as processing efficiency
- Work with cross-site peers to ensure project deliverables are met throughout the year
- Flexibility to adapt schedule to meet the needs of the learning program
- Learn all aspects of Retail, Advisor Services, and International processes to train as needed to support new hires
- Evaluate learning process of new hires and consult with management on progress
- Develop assessments to identify training enhancements
- Perform QA and evaluate for continuing education training
- Process work to maintain skills and identify with user needs
- Identify and solve issues proactively and independently in a virtual and in-office setting
- Review MyLXP content and work with training peers to evaluate/implement content change
- Familiarity with Schwab.com and/or SAC.com
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience planning, implementing, and facilitation of classroom training
- 3-4 years’ experience in Estate Services or equivalent estates experience required
- Exceptionally confident presenting content and engaging a group of 15+ learners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced technical skills including MS Office
- Strong knowledge of department procedures
- Highly successful working independently or as a team to accomplish goals and deadlines
- Ability to articulate the impact of our role/processes have on clients and business partners
- Skilled at handling client concerns, including ownership of issues and dedication to problem solving
- Highly accurate and detail oriented coupled with the ability to stay on track and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong work ethic with demonstrated exceptional customer service
- Ability to think critically and suggest changes conducive to a positive client outcome including ownership of issues and dedication to problem solving
- Skilled at maintaining a positive user experience while troubleshooting when challenges arise
- Proactively supports change management
- Thorough knowledge of brokerage/financial services industry with prior Operations experience strongly preferred
- Must be collaborative, great at problem solving, able to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
- Relationship-building and outstanding “soft” skills, including ability to influence and build consensus across organizations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present at all levels of the department
- Series 7 and 63 preferred
