We’re seeking a SDET Lead you will contribute to this mission by building high‑quality, scalable automation solutions that ensure reliability, security, and resilience across Retirement Technology platforms. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, continuously improve engineering practices, and help shape the future of our quality ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain scalable UI and API test automation frameworks using technologies such as Selenium, Java, and REST Assured to support critical workplace applications like Personal Choice Investment Services (PCIS).
  • Partner closely with engineers and architects to ensure testability, automation coverage, and quality are integrated from the earliest stages of development.
  • Drive modernization efforts by enabling faster, safer integrations through automated testing of APIs and core services.
  • Improve platform stability, performance, and resilience by proactively identifying risks and preventing defects before they reach production.
  • Utilize AI‑assisted testing and automation techniques to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and test coverage.
  • Serve as the quality engineering lead for one or more Scrum teams—providing technical expertise, elevating engineering practices, and influencing quality‑driven decision‑making.
  • Produce clear, concise documentation tailored to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Support a collaborative, inclusive environment where individuals are empowered to experiment, innovate, and learn.

What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related experience required; BS/MS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on test automation experience in Agile environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and object‑oriented programming principles.
  • 8+ years building automation frameworks with Selenium, REST Assured, or similar technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, mabl, Bruno, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL (MS‑SQL and Oracle preferred).
  • Practical exposure to cloud computing environments (PCF, GCP, AWS).
  • Deep understanding of design patterns used in test automation (Page Object Model, proxy, factory, data objects).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency with Git‑based source control systems.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
