As a Trader Electronic Communications Group Specialist, you’ll utilize your growing trading expertise to champion our trader clients’ goals, working with clients as the subject matter expert in equities, foreign exchange, and derivatives (options & futures). You’ll have the chance to deepen your trading and financial skills through training and mentorship while demonstrating your passion for assisting others through chat-based interactions with schwab.com users, delivering on Schwab’s vision to be the most trusted trade desk on the street.

What you have
To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required
- 1 year of experience in Client Service, Financial Services and/or Brokerage Services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Current or previous contact center experience
- Previous experience in customer service, client support with a focus on problem resolution
- Strong interest in trading and developing trader/capital markets related knowledge
- Analytical skills with the ability to effectively manage risk, adhere to trading with accuracy in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Trading experience, familiarity with the securities industry and an understanding of options and equities
- Strong written communication skills and ability to deepen client relationships through chat-based interactions
- Ability to ask appropriate, probing questions to clearly understand the client’s needs, using good judgment when responding, and selecting language and examples tailored to the specific experience level of the client
- Practical time management, mature business judgement, professionalism, and a strong work ethic are essential
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
