Reporting to the Director of CAS Risk and Support, the Manager will support the execution of strategic plans, control, audit and regulatory priorities across Custody and Asset Services. This role will partner with CAS leaders, business partners, Operations Control, and other key stakeholders to strengthen governance routines, monitor control and issue management activities, support policy adherence, and promote a sustainable control environment aligned with applicable riles, regulations, internal policies, and corporate risk management standards.
What you'll do:
- Assess and maintain an understanding of risks inherent to CAS processes and support a control environment designed to comply with applicable rules, regulations, internal policies, and corporate standards.
- Partner with Operations Control and business stakeholders to understand Corporate Risk Management policies and standards and how they apply to CAS processes and controls.
- Monitor and track team deliverables, including control testing status, issue management activities, action plan progress, documentation quality, and evidence readiness.
- Support special projects related to new or changing regulatory requirements, operational risk priorities, and business process improvements impacting CAS.
- Conduct policy and procedure adherence reviews to identify gaps, document observations, escalate concerns, and recommend practical remediation steps.
- Maintain and enhance the CAS Risk & Support SharePoint site to support documentation access, knowledge sharing, governance routines, and record organization.
- Support IAM control activities by coordinating with team members and business partners to help validate access, identify potential discrepancies, and promote timely resolution.
- Prepare clear written updates, summaries, and reporting materials for leadership, business partners, and control stakeholders.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Operational Services, risk management, audit, controls, compliance, or related financial services background
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of rules, regulations, internal policies, and control expectations relevant to Custody and Asset Services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, anticipate risks, and recommend effective solutions
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across team, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and influence outcomes through clear communication and sound judgement
- Ability to provide meaningful insights, challenge assumptions, and apply subject matter knowledge to improve processes and strengthen controls.
- Experienced making timely decisions based on all available information
- Adaptable and effective in a fast-changing environment, with the flexibility to shift priorities as business, market, and regulatory needs evolve.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed and escalating appropriately
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and actionable messaging.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Confluence, and SharePoint with the ability to learn new systems quickly
