The Advisor Transition Team provides superior transition support to investment advisors who have chosen to custody their client business with Charles Schwab & Co. What you are good at
- The Transition Manager provides an exceptional onboarding experience for Investment Advisors who will be moving their book of business from their current custodian to Charles Schwab and Co.
- The Transition Managers role in the conversion focuses on Advisor education through multiple Guided Learning Training modules as well as self-paced training on Schwab Advisor University.
- Work to improve Advisors ability to navigate systems and processes, reduce rework, improve efficiency and promote digital adoption
- Collaborate with various business partners including Sales, Transition Consultants, Conversion Consultants and Service Team contacts
- Manage the workflow of multiple conversions, maintaining a strong band of communication between all internal business partners, and providing superior customer service to the onboarding Advisor as their primary contact in some situations.
- Execute, follow-up and proactively communicate status of work performed to internal and external business partners
- Identify potential risk situations for each transition deal with initiative to proactively resolve and escalate as required
What you have
To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required:
- Strong knowledge of the independent investment advisor industry, its regulations, and related procedures, practices, and challenges
- Excellent external and internal client communication and strong business writing skills
- Ability to manage own workflow with limited supervision
- Experience in delivering professional presentations to both large and small groups
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and operational/technical functions
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- FINRA Series 7 AND 63 required
Preferred:
- FINRA Series 9 and 10 preferred
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
