Estate Services is a specialized organization within the broader Schwab Operational Services Enterprise providing high-touch service to our clients and to the advisors that serve them. The Estate Relationship Senior Specialist role is primarily focused on resolving Estate. This includes interpreting and processing legal documentation, mitigating financial and legal risk to the firm, reviewing and processing paperwork, and general inquiries from clients, attorneys, and internal business partners. The Senior Specialist role is expected to be a subject matter expert in resolving Estate cases, and display an exceptional level of efficiency, expertise and client service skills in assisting inheritors through the Inheritance Process.
As a Schwab Estate Sr. Specialist, you will be responsible for creating an outstanding and expert experience to clients in order to build and maintain client loyalty. Specifically, you will:

What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a high performing Specialist within Estate Services
- 3+ years operational experience in legal or financial services including brokerage, banking, legal/paralegal, or problem resolution
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related area (will consider relevant work experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated passion for service and helping clients in their time of need
- Active Series 7 & 63 licenses preferred, but not required
- Outstanding written and verbal communication capability
- Excellent logical reasoning, problem solving and research skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with an ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to support team development through peer coaching and mentorship
- Track record of active engagement in team and department initiatives
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
