The Paperless Product Team resides within the Operational Services Group at Charles Schwab and is focused on maximizing paperless delivery and providing clients a seamless and intuitive digital first experience across all accounts and communications.

The Sr Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee risk management, control oversight, and compliance activities across paperless business processes, supporting client communications, digital delivery and operational functions.
  • Partner with business, technology, compliance, legal, and operational stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, regulatory, and reputational risk.
  • Oversee control monitoring programs, issue management activities, remediation efforts, and evidence collection to support internal and external audits.
  • Develop and maintain control documentation, process maps, risk assessments, procedures, and governance artifacts to support a strong control environment.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, client experience improvements, and risk reduction.
  • Facilitate governance discussions and present risk, control, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Analyze operational data, reporting metrics, and key risk indicators to identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for process enhancement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in risk management, governance, operations, compliance, product management, project management, or related disciplines.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional meetings
  • Highly organized self-starter, with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, drive accountability, and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Creative and resourceful problem solver who can simplify complexity and identify pragmatic paths to execution.
  • Strong understanding of Operations and Technology teams, and processes
  • Background in supporting internal audits, regulatory examinations, risk assessments, and issue remediation activities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
