We are seeking a highly experienced Software Development & Engineering Lead to join the Sales & Service Data Engineering organization supporting strategic Wealth Management and Financial Services initiatives. This role will serve as a technical lead responsible for designing, modernizing, and delivering scalable cloud-based data solutions that enable critical business capabilities across Sales & Service platforms.
The ideal candidate brings over 12 years of software and data engineering experience, deep expertise in enterprise data integration and cloud data platforms, and a proven track record of delivering complex solutions within the financial services industry. This role requires a hands-on technology experience to lead implementation efforts, mentor engineers, drive engineering decisions and partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver resilient, secure, and scalable data products.
This position will play a key role in advancing cloud modernization initiatives leveraging Snowflake, GCP, Airflow, Salesforce integrations, and modern data engineering practices while helping shape the long-term technology roadmap for the organization.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale data engineering solutions
- Provide technical leadership in building cloud-native data platforms, driving engineering best practices, and modernization efforts
- Actively contribute to solution design, development, code reviews, test, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support activities.
- Design and implement scalable data integration patterns leveraging Snowflake, Python, Informatica, Airflow, SQL Server, Salesforce APIs, and GCP services.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, automated testing, observability.
- Lead data modeling, data quality, data governance, and performance optimization efforts to support enterprise analytical and operational workloads.
- Establish and promote engineering excellence through mentoring, technical guidance, design reviews, and knowledge sharing across delivery teams.
- Support critical production environments by leading root cause analysis, problem resolution, resiliency improvements, and continuous service optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps, prioritize engineering investments, and execute strategic modernization initiatives.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, regulatory expectations, and financial services industry best practices.
What you have

Required
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or enterprise application development experience.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale data platforms and integration solutions within Wealth Management, Financial Services, or related regulated industries.
- Deep hands-on expertise with: Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, Python, Informatica, Apache Airflow, Salesforce CRM Integration, Salesforce Integration Patterns. Data Modeling, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CI/CD and DevOps Practices GitHub Copilot
- Strong experience defining technical architecture, integration patterns, and cloud modernization strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives while remaining actively involved in solution delivery and implementation.
- Optimizes methods for integrating, consolidating, and cleansing data with compliance
- Leads initiatives to establish advanced incident response methods and optimize processes
- Implements advanced QA testing methodologies and drives robust compliance verification
- Executes advanced methodologies to refine software development processes and secure reliability
- Optimizes software release and deployment strategies to enhance quality and efficiency
- Leads the execution of system design strategies for cloud-based environments
- Clear and effective communication with prior exposure to stakeholder management
Preferred:
- SnowPro Advanced Certification(s) or equivalent Snowflake expertise.
- Experience leading large-scale data modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Sound understanding of the financial services business processes and data workflows.
- Experience supporting mission-critical client, advisor, or sales/service platforms within financial services organizations.
- Leverages deep industry knowledge to drive success while leading high-impact teams, projects, or programs
- Identifies and resolves challenges with a forward-looking approach
- Develops and implements procedures that enhance business effectiveness
- Upholds high standards of reliability, trust, and subject matter authority
- Drives continuous improvement by raising quality benchmarks and establishing new standards of excellence
