The Platform Infrastructure Automation team’s mission is to support I&O Platform Services by enhancing user experiences through guided assistance and the strategic implementation of automation opportunities. This support is crucial to enhance the quality and support of I&O (Infrastructure and Operations) services and platforms.
You will be working with a team of engineers on infrastructure automation and platform white-glove services. This role requires .Net development skills and solid understanding of Rest APIs paired with the ability to work independently the application and infrastructure teams.
What you’re good at:
- Proactive engagement, continuous improvement, and user-centric innovation—capturing developer feedback, identifying automation opportunities, and enhancing the quality and resilience of I&O services
- Building reference materials to help cross train and serve peers and peer organization support needs
- Understanding of technology concepts and tools, especially applied to infrastructure automation solutions
- Problem solving and analytic skills to effectively address the needs of customers
- Self-motivated, solutions oriented and proactive.
What you have
To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Software Development, Infrastructure Platform Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year technical experience with Rest APIs, .Net, and Infrastructure Deployment and Operations tooling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or a working understanding of Container Platforms (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Python or infrastructure scripting languages are a benefit as all provisioning includes Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with SCM and DevOps tool suites; examples include GitHub, Concourse etc.
- Experience with operational processes to ensure high availability and service of the entire technology stack
- Experience with operational processes and documentation
- Troubleshooting skills
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, related degree field
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
