Schwab Asset Management (SAM) is the asset management arm of the Charles Schwab Corporation. The SAM team is passionately committed to helping investors achieve their financial goals. Reporting into the Director, SAM Fixed Income Product Management, this role will work with key business partners to streamline processes, create efficiencies that help drive the growth and retention of our fixed income strategies, which include mutual funds, ETFs and separately managed accounts. This is an individual contributor position that requires a strong self-starter that works well independently. This role is expected to assist in the execution of product-based projects such as quarterly and annual reporting, product launch processes and product enhancements, product positioning, RFP responses, data validation, and regulatory communications.
This full-time position, based in Denver is part of the Charles Schwab Investment Management Services Group (CSIM) Product Management team.
What you are good at
- General business management to support and grow product lines; explore new opportunities
- Subject matter expert supporting both retail and institutional sales and client servicing efforts; RFPs and consultant database requests
- Assist on campaigns and promotions for multiple target segments and distribution channels; coordinate internal and external positioning and messaging
- Engage in research on funds, industry, and competitive trends
- Work with legal regarding the ongoing regulatory and supervisory commitments
- Compose clear and informative content for a wide variety of publications including client reports, web pages, marketing materials, and PowerPoint decks
- Present numerical data effectively using Excel tables and graphs
- Copyedit, fact-check and proofread communications and presentations for spelling, grammar, style, consistency and appropriate content as defined by the CSIM brand voice and legal guidelines

Required Qualifications
- Strong fixed income knowledge base in addition to experience working with ETFs, mutual funds and separately managed accounts
- Highly organized and detail-orientated
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in an intensive, multiple-deliverable work environment
- Self-starter who works well independently
- Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, is obsessively attentive to detail, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service every day
- Prioritize and manage workload independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Passion for investing and following investment trends
- Solid understanding of financial markets
- Superior relationship-building skill
- Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Copilot
- Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA preferred
- Licensure: Series 7 a plus
