Advisor Core Digital Solutions is responsible for Product Management of the digital platforms that fee-based advisors use to interact with Schwab.  The Senior Manager for Advisor Core Digital Solutions, SAC Client Experience is an integral part of the team responsible for driving the vision for Schwab Advisor Services advisor-facing digital channel – Schwab Advisor Center. This manager will be responsible for leading scrum teams to develop new features and align on core channel standards that extend across experience owners supporting Schwab Advisor Center. This manager interacts with teammates from across Schwab, with a heavy focus on Digital Services Channel Management, Advisor Services, and Schwab Technology Services.

What you’ll do:

You will use client feedback, data and peer collaboration to drive improvements in our digital custodial experience and continue to demonstrate our industry leading position. You will define and execute on roadmaps in collaboration with your business, operations, and technology leadership peers. You will collaborate with your technology partners, especially within Advisor Services Technology (AST) to enhance related platforms.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Defining and gaining alignment on a digital strategy that supports the ~$12T AUM already served by the Investor Services and Advisor Services business lines and prepares for future growth
  • Defining and implementing design, collaboration, and development processes that enhance our focus on end-to-end and digitally-enabled client experiences
  • Leading the execution of digital client journeys from design to implementation collaborating with key partners in business lines, technology, and operation
  • Championing key collaboration and development processes to enhance design, client experience, and speed-to-market
  • Collaborating with external experts and third-party consulting firms on major strategic projects necessary for the advancement of our digital strategy
  • Partnering with other strategy teams across the enterprise on cross-business unit opportunities
  • Contributing to definition of a clear and compelling vision of the advisor digital experience that drives business outcomes
  • Developing roadmaps for applicable advisor platforms, grounded in client insights, competitive and industry trends and technology capabilities;
  • Defining platform metrics to ensure your roadmaps' delivery on Advisor Services business outcomes
  • Driving implementation of related advisor platform initiatives
  • Driving awareness and adoption of advisor digital capabilities, in collaboration with the business, to ensure business outcomes are achieved
  • Influencing key stakeholders and working across the AS organization to promote and evangelize digital priorities in your area
  • Drive modern digital product management principles and serve as a leader across technology, design and product teams.

What you have


  • 5-10 years of product management/business experience related to the Advisor Services business
  • Bachelor's degree required; post-graduate degree is a plus
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a creative thinker with a keen interest in ensuring the best possible experience for clients
  • Ability to develop and articulate business requirements
  • Must possess strong analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a highly-collaborative work environment
  • Tenacity, a bias for action, the ability to self-start and overcome obstacles, successfully execute on multiple projects simultaneously, sometimes under extremely tight deadlines
  • Possess a fine attention to detail and a disciplined approach to developing applications
  • Strong digital product management experience in financial services or comparable experience at a top technology firm.
  • Ability to build strong relationships through collaboration across multiple levels of the organization motivating colleagues to get things done effectively; is sought out for counsel and feedback and contributes to cross-functional teams and initiatives.
  • Purpose-driven team leader who displays confidence and courage in business and talent decisions, actions and communications with a demonstrated ability to take decisive action when needed including championing ideas, position or dissent.
  • Experience in building out customer solutions and developing and implementing digital strategy
