We areseekinga skilled and passionate Middle-Level Java Developer to join our Core Trading Technology team. You willbe responsible fordesigning, developing, andmaintaininghigh-performance,

 low-latency applications that power our electronic trading platforms. Working closely withPOs,TradeDesk, and infrastructure teams, you will deliver robust, scalable software solutions thatoperatein real-time environments.

Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

  • Build, enhance, andmaintaincore components of our trading platform, including order management systems (OMS), execution management systems (EMS), and market data handlers.
  • Performance Optimization:Analyze and optimize code for maximum speed and scalability, focusing on low-latency and high-throughput requirements.
  • SystemIntegration: Integrateproprietary trading applications with external exchanges, liquidity providers, and market data vendors using FIX protocol or REST/RMIAPIs.
  • Code Quality:Write clean, efficient, testable Java code, following TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles andparticipatingin rigorous code reviews.
  • Troubleshooting & Support:Troubleshoot, debug, and fix complex production issues to ensure 24/7 system availability, providing 2nd/3rd level support to business users.
  • Collaboration:Work in an Agile environment with traders, quants, and QA to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Refactoring:Refactor legacy Java code to reduce technical debt and improve system maintainability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on, professional Java development experience.
  • Core Java: Deep knowledge of Java 11+ fundamentals, including Object-Oriented Programming, Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
    Experience with low-latency messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).Familiarity with FIX protocol (Financial InformationeXchange).
  • JVM Tuning: Experience with garbage collection tuning and JVM performance optimization.
  • Frameworks:Proficiencywith Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and dependency injection.
  • Databases: Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle).
  • Tools & DevOps: Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
  • Domain Knowledge:Previousexperience in the financial industry, particularly in trading, derivatives, or riskmanagementis highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related experience
  • Proficient in translating business requirements and programming specifications into robust Java solutions that effectively address organizational needs.
  • Demonstrates extensive experience in full-lifecycle development, encompassing system design, software requirements definition, system facilities management, and operational execution protocols.
  • Experience with Architecture design of multi-tiered client/server applications.
  • Must be well organized andself-motivatedand be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Demonstratesability to manage demanding, high-priority schedules. Requires flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines.
  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership and foster collaboration among geographically distributed engineering teams (onshore/offshore).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cloud-native development (AWS/Azure/Kubernetes).
  • Understandingfinancial instruments (Equities, FX, Derivatives).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
