Banking operations provides a broad range of Operational technical expertise to support our clients. Our mission is to provide prompt, thorough, and complete service through collaborative partnerships with both internal and external partners.

As a senior specialist, you will belong to a multi-facet team that provides white glove service as well as processing time sensitive high risk client transactions. This is a fast paced, detail-oriented, high volume, and deadline-driven environment requiring the ability to build and foster relationships across the firm to be successful.

What you will do:

• Provide exceptional prompt and thorough service to clients by ensuring thorough and proactive solutions to their work items.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy, assess risk, and make sound business judgement decisions.
• Spend the amount of time needed to complete items by working with phone, email, and chat channels.
• Effectively switch gears throughout the day to assist with meeting critical cut-off times or high-volume processing.
• Serve as an advisor/mentor for associates and partners to the department to assist with complex issues, escalations, and understanding of the day’s priorities.
• Partner with management to identify, monitor and control their existing and emerging risks.
• Provide advice and guidance to service teams and investment advisors regarding associate usage of escalation pathways.

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in client service or operations with brokerage/financial industry required.
• Due to nature of risk with responsibilities, attention to detail and accuracy are required.
• Advanced level of knowledge regarding regulatory, audit and compliance policies regarding the securities industry is needed.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn new technology and utilize a variety of data and systems in order to proactively identify solutions to meet client needs.
• Self-driven and demonstrated ability to work in a high volume environment.
• Intermediate technical skills, with the ability to use multiple applications simultaneously and efficiently, including Windows, internet research, database systems, and email.
• Excellent operational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage complex work.
• Engaging interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, and quickly develop a full understanding of our business.
• Positive attitude, team oriented, enthusiastic, professional, forward thinker and strong work ethic.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
