We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with over 10 years of expertise. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Selenium and JMeter test frameworks, is skilled in writing test cases in Java, and is proficient in conducting both manual and automated tests of APIs and web-based UI.
Candidates must have experience in Java, Selenium, JMeter, REST-assured, Postman, SQL, have an expert knowledge of testing trading API, and demonstrate a strong background in the Kanban methodology. The selected candidate will play a key role in helping the team solve complex issues of diverse scope through thorough analysis and collaborative problem-solving.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will:
•Serve as a QA Lead/Consultant across multiple teams and products
•Play a key role in test strategy development by identifying areas suitable for automation
•Contributing towards performance testing and executing automated tests to identify potential bottlenecks
•Oversee test coverage by coordinating with offshore team members as needed.
•Mentor junior test engineers on best practices and framework usage.
•Actively work with the dev leads to understand the requirements and design automated tests as part of development process.
•Proactively identify opportunities to enhance automation coverage, improve test efficiency and optimize the automation framework
What you have
Required Qualifications
•10+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with an extensive background in manual and automated testing of APIs and web-based UI.
•Strong proficiency in creating and implementing test frameworks using Selenium and JMeter.
•Expertise in writing test cases in Java, ensuring thorough test coverage and high-quality code validation.
•Hands-on experience working with tools such as Bamboo and GitHub, as well as integrating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
•Good knowledge of financial markets and trading
•3+ years of experience in testing trading applications
•5+ years of experience in testing financial web based applications
