​​We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to create, maintain, support, and improve complex technology operations for groundbreaking data analytics platforms, with special emphasis around continuous improvement (CI/CD) of processes by applying modern engineering principles around DevOps and/or Site Reliability Engineering.  You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value by seeing the world “Through Clients' Eyes.”​

•Work on the deployment, installation and configuration of sophisticated Market Data/Trading/Finance and related software specifically Thinkorswim application.
•Strong working experience with administration of UNIX/Linux OS – Network Equipment (Cisco, Juniper, others)
•Be active on the assistance for developers, participation in DevOps routines
•Work on the installation and management of in-house developed and external well-known monitoring systems like Splunk, Grafana and AppDynamics.
•Work on the design, installation and configuration of managed servers (including physically racking and connecting the equipment to third-party devices) and cloud-based servers, networks provision servers and storage, configuration of firewalls, VPN, monitoring, etc.
•Be proactive in identifying and troubleshooting problems in testing and production environments, (generating solutions and bug reports when required) and monitoring network and systems health and status, and continuously making improvements.
•Solve critical problems in network environments (multicast routing/latency issues/packet loss/etc.) and in Systems, platforms and data such as: unavailability/ outage/ inconsistency/ misconfiguration/ etc.)
•Diagnose complex issues within network stack including low level packet capture and OS system analysis.
•Participate in an on-call support rotation to ensure 24x7x365 coverage for critical core and customer issues.
•Guide and mentor Level II engineers
•Excellent communication skills.

What you have

Required Qualifications

•10+ years of overall all IT experience in diverse distributed and Cloud technologies.
•5+ years of experience working in Thinkorswim technologies.
•3+ years of experience in Phyton and Java programing skills.
•3+ years of experience in UNIX/Linux administration and Networking
•3+ experience working on CI/CD pipelines.
•Experience in AWS and Azure cloud technologies.
•In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and ISO/OSI stack
•Knowledge of IP Multicast (RP, PIM, IGMP and MSDP)
•Proficiency in shell script languages: awk, perl and etc
•Preferred experience in cluster technologies and high availability systems
•Experience in working with Tomcat, Apache, nginx, HA-proxy webservers.
•Experience in solving complex problems and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
•Strong analysis, investigation and troubleshooting skills.
•Good written and spoken English language.
