The Managing Director, Cash Products and Platforms, reporting directly to the Chief Banking Officer, will lead the strategy, performance, and modernization of Schwab’s cash products and platforms across bank and brokerage offerings.
Key Outcomes:
- Lead the strategy, management, and performance of Schwab’s cash products and platforms across bank and brokerage offerings
- Oversee Charles Schwab Bank deposit products, including checking, savings, and CDs, as well as Schwab’s brokerage cash features and bank sweep offering
- Own product strategy, client experience, pricing governance, and business performance, while guiding firmwide decision-making on key cash-related topics
- Lead platform modernization and execution across deposits, lending, servicing, and related banking capabilities in partnership with technology and operations teams
- Partner across product, technology, operations, risk, legal, compliance, finance, and service organizations to deliver growth, resiliency, and regulatory alignment
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across product management, platform leadership, and business execution to drive enterprise outcomes
What you have
Required Qualifications & Key Skills
- 15+ years of executive leadership experience in banking, cash management, deposits, payments, brokerage cash, or adjacent financial services businesses
- Deep understanding of governance, regulatory, and risk frameworks applicable to complex financial services businesses
- Demonstrated success leading complex product and platform portfolios spanning strategy, product management, governance, and execution
- Deep experience driving large-scale product, platform, or transformation initiatives in highly regulated financial services environments
- Strong track record partnering across product, technology, operations, risk, legal, compliance, finance, and service organizations to deliver enterprise outcomes
- Experience leading senior teams and operating models supporting execution, talent development, and organizational effectiveness
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making on client experience, pricing, risk, regulatory requirements, and business performance
- An undergraduate degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
