Become a member of the Capacity Enablement and Technology Business Management team in Schwab Technology Services as a Sr. Specialist, Analytics Developer. This role is responsible for developing and implementing AI-enabled automation, data engineering, analytics, and reporting solutions that drive operational efficiency and business insight. The position combines software development, process automation, data integration, and modern analytics capabilities to streamline workflows, modernize reporting platforms, and deliver scalable solutions supporting Capacity Enablement, Technology Business Management, and broader enterprise initiatives. This opportunity plays a key role in identifying innovation opportunities, creating reusable automation assets, and advancing the adoption of AI-driven capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI-enabled automation solutions that eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency across Capacity Enablement and Technology Business Management functions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and workflow automation capabilities that support reporting, planning, governance, and analytics needs.
• Develop modern reporting and visualization solutions using Power BI and related platforms, ensuring accurate, actionable, and scalable business insights.
• Create reusable automation frameworks, services, and tools that can be leveraged across multiple teams and business processes.
• Lead the implementation of AI-assisted development practices, including GitHub Copilot adoption, prompt engineering, and intelligent code generation techniques.
• Engineer and optimize enterprise workflows within platforms such as Apptio and related Technology Business Management ecosystems, increasing automation, reliability, and operational resilience.
• Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, optimization opportunities, and decision-support insights for capacity planning, financial management, and technology operations.
• Ensure solutions are properly documented, maintainable, auditable, and designed for long-term operational support and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications : 

• 2+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, analytics, or technology solution delivery.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation solutions using modern programming languages, scripting tools, and workflow orchestration platforms.
• Experience working with relational databases, data modeling, data transformation, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration techniques.
• Proficiency developing reporting, analytics, and visualization solutions using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Experience integrating applications and data sources through APIs, web services, and other enterprise integration technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern automation technologies to improve development productivity and operational efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently on complex initiatives.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or similar iterative development environments.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience designing and implementing AI-enabled automation solutions, intelligent workflows, or machine learning-driven business applications.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Generative AI technologies, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, or large language model-based solutions.
• Experience developing reusable automation frameworks, shared services, or enterprise-scale automation capabilities.
• Knowledge of Technology Business Management, Apptio, IT Financial Management, Capacity Management, FinOps, or related technology operations disciplines.
